Winter has been slow to arrive at the mountain, and it's safe to say the village has been humming with the sound of frustrated riders checking their calendar. Yesterday's high winds forced a halt to the lifts, another reminder that mother nature isn't cooperating. Yet the forecast brings a glimmer: colder temperatures and a chance of substantial snow in the very near future. The rumor mill is buzzing - could the winds have stirred more than just gusts, nudging a powder event closer to our slopes? Could winter finally turn the tide in our favor?
