Passo Rolle is in the Trentino region of Italy and is part of the Val di Fiemme group (Ski Center Latemar (Obereggen-Pampeago-Predazzo), Passo Lavaze (Oclini/lavaze/Jochgrimm), Passo Rolle, Ski Area Alpe Lusia (Bellamonte-Moena), Alpe Cermis - Cavalese, Monte San Pietro/Petersberg and Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen). It is a medium sized ski resort with 5 ski lifts (4 chair lifts, 1 surface lift) but it only has 220 metres (722 feet) of vertical descent. Passo Rolle has 11 pistes and is within the 1,200 kms of Dolomiti SuperSki area. Passo Rolle is evenly suited for both advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders but most of the terrain suits beginners. There are 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) of cross country ski trails at Passo Rolle. Over half of the pistes at Passo Rolle are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Bolzano and the nearest train station to Passo Rolle is at Ora.
