Ski-to-surf views and some of the deepest snow in North America- welcome to Mount Washington, Vancouver Island’s destination ski resort. Tucked between the Pacific Ocean and the snowy peaks of Strathcona Provincial Park, Mount Washington wows with deep snow, great scenery and an easy-going island vibe. Mount Washington boasts a staggering average of 11.5 m (38 ft) of snowfall a year. That’s so much snow that Ski Canada Magazine gave it the “Biggest Snow” award in 2012.

Stayed at the MT. this past week Jan 20-27. What a mob. Boom open, what a zoo. Through the week excellent conditions. On Wed temperature 6 degrees and full sun. Talk about spring skiing in January. Gotta love the wash. See you soon.
