Melchsee-Frutt in Switzerland (in the Central region) is a medium sized ski resort with 10 ski lifts (3 chair lifts, 5 surface lifts) that offers skiers a respectable 389 metres (1276 feet) of vertical descent. Melchsee-Frutt has 13 pistes with a total length of 32 kilometers (20 miles). Melchsee-Frutt is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 15 kilometers (9 miles) of cross country ski trails at Melchsee-Frutt. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. The nearest airport is at Bern.

Blue sky conditions most days. No queues week days, quite busy weekends. All pistes managed well. Some short steep parts to some of the blues which might be a problem for beginners, otherwise a great place to ski for most.
