QUOTE "I don't think this picture is cairngorm There are no fixed button lifts there" Really.....what about the West Wall Poma, the Fiacall, The M1, Day Lodge and the Link.......

  • stuart

I don't think this picture is cairngorm There are no fixed button lifts there. I think it is Helvelyn and for N. england looks like a good day. Whilst on about snow, practically anywhere is better than europe this season

  • We got better snow here in Scotland. Australia has all fake snow. Snow cannons

  • mate we got better snow here in Australia

  • Its not crap. thats the reason for having the fence . To catch the snow ! The scottish season last for about 4 months not 1!!

  • Crap! The law of physics would dictate that the snow should move further to the left

  • Depends how keen on skiing you are Candy. If you live in the North of England then Raise or the north Pennines will be your 'local' hill. If your into attractive landscapes with mountains then it the Lake District National Park is probably one of the best in Europe. By the way the snow is lying naturally and hasn't been moved. It simply drifts into this shape and depth which is why the tow is here in the first place.

Don't bother Candy, youre bound to be disappointed :-?

  • jimmy

hrm that looks like a number of tows in scotland, notice how they've taken all the snow from the surrounding area to try and keep the tow open longer than a month(which is about the length of a scottish season  ).

  • Candy

Where is this Raise place :?:

  • Kaaskoek

Can see why it came to a pre-mature end!!!
